Alpine Meadows

This area is known for testing the talent of the Extreme Skiers and Snowborders in the world. It also offers variable terrain catering to all levels of expertise. Although somewhat smaller than Squaw Valley the mountain is great fun, uncrowded and always seems to attract the friendly types.

This area is located at the bottom of a V with steep mountains on both sides offering very little development area for homes or condos. There is a very lovely but small residential community right off Alpine Meadows Road.
